Founded in the early ’70s, Primat is a leading group in advanced technological services for the automotive sector, specializing in anti-corrosion surface treatments for fastening systems. In July 2023, Primat completed (i) the acquisition of a 65% majority stake in the capital of Curtis Metal Finishing, a leading American player in the surface treatment and coating of fasteners, and (ii) the acquisition of 97.5% of the capital of Vi.Pi.Effe, an Italian leader in braking treatments for fasteners, particularly for automotive industry applications. These strategic acquisitions established Primat as the largest global conglomerate offering technological services for fastener treatment, with operations in Italy, Brazil, and the USA.
