Leveraging its advanced remote patient monitoring and machine learning platform, Huma drives patient care, accelerates clinical research and therapies, and develops cutting-edge Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) solutions. In 2021, Huma started its path of external growth with the following key acquisitions (i) in December 2021, iPlato, whose software manages 26 million patients in the UK, (ii) in February 2022, the business unit of AstraZeneca, which includes the AMAZE® platform to monitor and manage clinical data,(iii) in February 2023, Alcedis, which is Germany’s leader in medical research in clinical trials.
